I live in Plano. This city is located in North Texas. In Plano city, the water tower has a message that Plano is the city of Excellence.
Since the early 1840s the history of Plano dated way back. Many immigrants from Kentucky and Tennessee settled into Collin County Blackland Prairie. In 1846 a sawmill and a grits meal business were created by Mr. Williams Foreman. Other settlers were attracted to these facilities including a general store which made the population slowly grow. In the Houston and Texas Central Railway, we’re completed in 1872 and linked Plano to Dallas and Houston. The railway caused new businesses to open along with many farms and ranches.
Plano is a fantastic city for couples hoping to raise a family. While Plano is pretty quiet there are many fun places to go to, for example, Shops at Legacy, located in West Plano, and downtown Plano which is located in East Plano. Those two senses attract a lot of young professionals looking for a more lively atmosphere.
There are also a lot of parks and of course a bunch of great cafes and restaurants. If you’re thinking about visiting Plano be sure to look at these things to do:
Visit Interurban Railway Museum
At the Shops at Legacy and Legacy West go shopping, have a nice lunch or dinner, enjoy the food hall and a live music venue.
Downtown Plano Arts District
The at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve.
